I am Dr Donald Agwazia a candidate of the just completed July 2023 MDCN exams and also a Medituts candidate.
I heared about Medituts since 2020 because some of My senior colleagues passed using Medituts so I knew I needed to use them as well.
I graduated in June of 2021 and did nothing medically related for a year.
I came back to Nigeria In January 2023 and began lessons with the Medituts onground class on the very first day ( February 6th 2023) and I wouldn’t lie to you , I was intimidated and self doubts kicked-in immediately because everyone else knew a lot and I had forgotten a lot. Medituts does this thing were they give class tests every day and I kid you not when I say that I had 5% in my first ever class test which was on Obstetrics and gynecology. I felt even more defeated when I was unable to get up to 50% in class tests even by the ending of March because at this point we had been taught a lot more and I was studying consistently but still It felt like I wasn’t making progress, but Admin kept on telling me not to give up and that it was too early to start letting self doubts set in. I think my defining moment was our first MDCN week when I was given “Malaria in pregnancy counseling ” and I messed up bad and I took that one personal.
I just want to thank Admin a lot because he was very strict and blunt about the need to get and use the big books to study and not just the guides, he made it clear that all our questions are set from our books and if we follow the Medituts guideiance, we’d definitely end in praise. He kept on saying it would end in praise and he was always available to talk to and get guidance from at any moment. One of his most famous lines is “Doctors if you can beat the system here, you would definitely beat the MDCN system “.
Medituts tutorial is not a walk in the park, it’s designed to test you and make you study always. They have very amazing tutors as well who would explain everything in detail to you and most times would take the entire class back because of one question.
